Golden Spike National Historic Park and the Spiral Jetty

We spent Presidents' Day with Roger and Jill as we had a day trip together.  We drove out to see where the two railroads met, the Golden Spike Historic Park.  Afterwards, we then saw the Spiral Jetty, which is artwork made from volcanic rock laid out in a spiral design in the Great Salt Lake.

We hiked up to the lookout.

Papa took Madelyn out to climb on the rocks.

Maddie even got to ride in the car at Papa's house, one of her favorite things to do there.

Dallin's Mission Call

We were excited to support Dallin, my oldest nephew. as he opened his mission call.  He will be a wonderful missionary in Fresno, California.

Valentines

This Valentines was definitely the best I have ever experienced!  Todd outdid himself! Sweet notes on the bathroom mirror, flowers, cookies, frostys, and dinner at Marconi Grill.

On Valentine's morning, we all opened a present---Madelyn got food for her kitchen set, Ethan received blocks, Todd got a Fitbit, and I received a skit and sweater.

Lots of Good Times

My mom came for a quick visit to see Grams and us.
While getting ready for church, it seemed strangely quiet.  I checked to find Madelyn---seems she was helping herself to the dessert.
Daddy daughter date to the Circus
 Library time with her friends

Warm weather lead to Ethan's first time at the park to swing.
After I went to a RS activity, the next morning, Madelyn grabbed her purse and walked around the house saying, "Bye, I'm going to Relief Society."

Fun in the Tub

Bathtime is always more fun with a friend in the tub.

MLK Day at the Beane Museum

On MLK Day, we toured the Beane Museum together with several families from our ward.  Maddie enjoyed going with her friend, Makayla and the Stephenson family.
We stopped to let the kids play on the slide.

January

With the start of the new year, Ethan turned 3 months.  He is starting to get use to her "love" and she is starting to be slightly softer with him.
We also began potty training Madelyn.  She is so proud of her stickers.
Meghan stopped and visited again while they were staying in Salt Lake for several weeks.  Ethan and Margot are only a few weeks apart.
Todd went to a BYU basketball game with Jon, Fuller, and Will.

Ethan is really good at holding and grabbing things now.  Watch out for your plate!

Todd went with the scouts to do a biathlon---cross country skiing and shooting.

Grams' and Cath's Birthday

We went to Gram's 97th birthday party to celebrate with the Fuller family.

What a special time to celebrate our birthdays together!

Afterwards, we hosted Jon and Meghan's family.  Madelyn loved playing with such fun cousins.
